PHILLIPS LIGHTING FEATURE

Overview
Phillips Lighting came to us at Getwellnetwork with a concept to create a lighting feature that will be implemented in the Getwellnetwork system. The goal of the lighting feature was to help take kids' minds off of the pain and illness they experience while in the hospital.
My Role
As an integral part of the project, I collaborated with the UX and Phillips lighting team to create the information architecture and components integrated within the lighting feature being implemented in the Getwellnetwork system. I also created a mock prototype of the lighting feature that could be used to demonstrate how the system would look like and how the patients could interact with the lighting feature.
User Flows

I was first tasked to create user flows to map out the navigation of the lighting feature. I used Google draw to create the best way for children to easily navigate through the lighting feature. The main goal throughout this process was to make the lighting feature seamless and fun to use for the children.
Information Architecture

I was then tasked to create the information architecture of the lighting feature based off the clients needs. Each scenario was created using Adobe Illustrator. Each scenario depicted how the user would interact with an aspect of the system. For example the patient turns color lights off, shown above, depicts the patient going through the color bucket in the lighting feature to turn off the color lights.
Design

A simple prototype was then created using Adobe XD to simulate to Phillips Lighting what the lighting feature could look like on the Getwellnetwork system.
